It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to the people lost in the tragic fire in Oakland this past weekend. As a San Francisco Bay Area company, all of us have deep connections to the region’s vibrant independent music and arts community. Many of us have personal connections to individuals who lost their lives in the fire. Among the souls we lost were leaders in this community, others were getting together with friends to have a good time. All of their lives were precious. We would like to offer our love and support to their friends and families, to the survivors and all of those impacted by this tragedy.
For our Bay Area neighbors, there will be a vigil held tonight at Lake Merritt in Oakland:

If you would like to donate, several groups are accepting contributions, such as the Gray Area Foundation for the Arts, who is working with the city of Oakland (and other groups) to make sure all the funds are properly allocated:
Instead of just saying goodbye, we would like to thank the victims for all the joy, light and beauty they brought to the world during their time here on Earth. You will be missed, but never forgotten.
