In March 2003, Richard Blair and his wife, DeeAnn, founded Artisan Center Theater in Hurst, TX, with a mission to bring family-friendly performances to the community. Blair describes it as “shows that are safe for your grandmother or your grandchildren.” In the first year, the 150-seat theater was open three nights a week, bringing in 21,000 patrons. Now in its 15th year, Artisan Center Theater has experienced several renovations and hosts more than 100,000 patrons each year.
Operating in three separate databases and a homegrown system that was difficult to maintain Artisan Center was looking for a turnkey solution. After implementing Vendini the theater was able to streamline operations to bring their data into one integrated system and leverage patron data to drive donations.
