We just wrapped up day one of Camp Vendini 2017 and it’s been an absolute blast. In case you’re not hip to it, Camp Vendini is the event we put on every year bringing together the best and brightest minds in ticketing and live entertainment for two days of learning, training, sharing and fun.
This year has been shaping up to be the best conference yet. For starters, we’re here at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, TN. Which means we’re thrilled to be enjoying all the southern hospitality and warm country vibes that you can only find here in Music City.
This is also a special year because we just announced the official launch of our Product Advisory Board. The Product Advisory Board is a new organization we’re starting that will consist of Vendini members who are interested in playing a role in developing the future of our products. Now, don’t get the idea that we’re out of ideas—it’s quite the opposite, in fact. The primary reason for taking this approach is to help us prioritize which of our best ideas gets developed first. And instead of telling our Members what our best ideas are, we’re here to ask our Members what’s most important to them.
While the new Product Advisory Board is big news, there was a ton of other great stuff going on during day one of Camp Vendini 2017. Let’s take a look at some of the highlights…
Bill DeMain, host and guide for “Walkin’ Nashville,” treats VMC Campers to a fascinating history of how Nashville became Music City
Happy Campers meet and greet each other at our Birds of a Feather Campfire

As you can see, it’s been a full day here at Camp Vendini 2017. We’ve got another big day ahead of us tomorrow, so it’s time for sleep now. Check in tomorrow when we’ll post highlights from day two of Camp Vendini 2017. Follow us on Twitter and Instagram at @Vendini for more coverage!
